I tried to buy this Big In Japan EP for £25 in Probe Records in Liverpool, in 1986, when I was 16, which was a bit of money for a record back then. I couldn't really afford it at the time and the guy behind the counter knew that it had taken me a good while to save up, and when it came to the crunch, he wouldn't sell it to me.That's what they were like in Probe. There was an integrity there. It was always personal, never about business. If they didn't want to sell you a record, because a) they didn't like it or b) because they knew you couldn't afford it, they wouldn't sell it to you. So pleased to hear it now, after all these years..
